I believe that childbirth can be a beautiful and powerfully positive experience for a woman. I recognize the strong dynamics of birth by providing balanced information and caring support in a safe environment. I honor that just as every woman is different, so is every birth. It is my privilege to accompany and assist each of my clients and their families on their special journey.  I offer home birth midwifery services, in-hospital doula care, traveling lactation support, and in-home wise woman wellness.

Cassaundra is a Certified Professional Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.  Before she found her calling and became a midwife she was an engineer with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Aerospace Engineering.  The degree she is most proud of is her Associate of Science degree in Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery a MEAC accredited school.  Cassaundra believes deeply in lifelong learning and has completed over 150 hours of continuing education in lactation as well as the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics training given by the American Academy of Family Practitioners.
