New Growth Midwifery

Tanja Bolle, LM, CPM

Serving families within a 90 minute radius of Santa Fe.

968 Alto Street
Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501

Self-pay, Insurance, Medicaid

New Growth Midwifery is a small homebirth practice offering you personalized holistic care with the consistency of one midwife. My name is Tanja Bolle. I
am a New Mexico Licensed and Certified Professional Midwife and have been practicing as a homebirth midwife since 1996 in the Santa Fe area (I will travel up to 90 minutes for births).  “New Growth” comes with the philosophy that we all have the opportunity to develop and change with each pregnancy and birth, that we can establish and deepen roots as well as branch out to create a strong community of empowered women and families.  I take this to heart as a midwife and mother and try to foster a space of openness and growth with the women I work.

New Growth Midwifery offers services for the entire childbearing year- from preconception to prenatals, labor and birth, postpartum and well woman visits. One of the things that makes this practice unique is that all visits are provided in the comfort and security of your own home, together with your family where you
will give birth. Medicaid and insurance are accepted and consultations are no charge.

Open Circle Homebirth

Ani Hagan, CPM, LM

Las Cruces, Deming, Alamogordo, El Paso, Chapparal, Mesquite

(915) 549 0307
Self-pay, some Insurance and Medicaid

I am a midwife with 12 years of midwifery experience, over 300 births attended and my own experience as a
home-VBAC mother of three to draw on. Open Circle Homebirth grew out of Art of Birth & Wellness,
where I was a partner midwife with Kamy Shaw for 10 years. I have also worked as a staff midwife at
Maternidad La Luz in El Paso and am currently working towards my BSN, with the goal of expanding the
services I can offer my homebirth clients. I see clients both in my home in El Paso and in my office in Las
Cruces. Office visits may include blood draws for lab tests, pap smears and physical exams.
My approach to midwifery care is grounded in the two main principles that pregnancy and birth are natural,
physiological and empowering life processes and that the pregnant woman and her family must be given
complete, unbiased information to make their own decisions about what is best for them.
My prenatal care is centered on not just addressing the physical health of the pregnant mother, but on
helping her to emotionally, intellectually and intuitively prepare for her birth. Each hour-long prenatal
appointment gives us time to become comfortable with each other and to address the mom’s discomforts,
fears, questions and hopes for her birth and to make recommendations to help her have a healthier and
happier pregnancy.
I am available for a free initial interview, which I encourage both partners and other concerned family
members to attend. Please call 915 549 0307 or email with questions or to
schedule an interview.
